TERMS & CONDITIONS
RSK9 LTD – Terms & Conditions Company No. 16269884 RSK9 LTD operates using a balanced training approach. Clients are encouraged to read and fully understand our published material explaining this methodology prior to agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions
1. “Agreement” means the quotation, booking confirmation, acceptance and these Terms and Conditions.
2. “Work” means any behaviour consultation, training session, residential training, written report, assessment, programme or service provided by RSK9 LTD.
3. “Client” means the individual who has requested the Work and is legally responsible for the dog.
4. “Dog” refers to the dog(s) presented for training.
5. “Business” refers to RSK9 LTD, Company Number 16269884.
2. Guarantees
1. All dogs’ behaviour is influenced by factors including age, health, environment, genetics and handler consistency. Behaviour can change over time.
2. For training to be effective, the Client must implement and maintain all guidance provided by RSK9 LTD.
3. No guarantee, whether expressed or implied, can ensure specific behavioural outcomes.
4. The success of behavioural work cannot be guaranteed with any dog.
5. RSK9 LTD will design a training programme based on information provided during consultation. If further behavioural issues become apparent during training, additional Work may be required and charged accordingly.
3. General
1. Work provided by RSK9 LTD will be charged at the agreed rate confirmed at the time of booking.
2. Block bookings must be used within 12 months of the booking date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. The Puppy Foundations programme must be completed within 6 months of the booking date. Sessions not used within this period will be forfeited.
4. Agreed deadlines do not affect the Business’s right to payment.
5. All Work provided remains for the sole use of the Client and may not be reproduced, resold, distributed or profited from without written consent from RSK9 LTD.
6. RSK9 LTD reserves the right to refuse or discontinue Work at its discretion, particularly if a dog is deemed unsafe or unsuitable to continue training. In such cases, the Client must collect the dog immediately.
7. RSK9 LTD is not responsible for any loss suffered by the Client if agreed deadlines are missed.
8. Late drop-off or early collection during residential training may reduce the overall amount of training delivered.
9. Protection training is provided for sporting purposes only. It is legal to own a dog trained in protection sport; however, it is illegal to deploy a dog in a real-life protection scenario. The Client remains fully responsible for ensuring their dog is always under control and safe.
10. The Client confirms that any dog attending residential training is fit, healthy and suitable to participate in training activities.
11. The dog must be fully up to date with routine vaccinations, including kennel cough, and documentary proof must be provided prior to the commencement of residential training.
12. The Client confirms the dog has received appropriate parasite prevention treatment prior to arrival.
13. The Client must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, behavioural concerns, or ongoing health issues before training begins.
14. Any medication required during residential training must be declared in writing with clear dosage instructions supplied.
15. RSK9 LTD reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate residential training if adequate vaccination records are not provided, if medical information is withheld, or if the dog is deemed unwell upon arrival.
4. Amendments to Agreed Work
1. Severe weather conditions may result in sessions being rescheduled in the interest of safety.
2. Any changes requested after the Agreement is formed may incur additional charges.
3. Programme or session amendments will normally be charged beyond the original agreed price.
4. To reschedule a session, a minimum of one week’s notice is required. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the session being forfeited.
5. All amendments must be agreed in writing by both parties.
5. Dogs in Season
1. RSK9 LTD cannot accept dogs in season for residential training.
2. If a dog comes into season during residential training, training will cease immediately and the dog must be collected.
3. Training may resume once the season has concluded. Days already used will be deducted from the original booking.
4. If a dog is expected to come into season within three weeks of the agreed start date, the Client must inform RSK9 LTD immediately.
6. Payment
1. Payment in full is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Block bookings are non-refundable.
3. RSK9 LTD reserves the right to withhold Work where payment remains outstanding.
7. Cancellation
1. The Client has a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking in which they may cancel and receive a full refund.
2. If Work is scheduled to commence within 30 days of booking, the cooling-off period will not apply.
3. If any element of the Work takes place during the cooling-off period, cancellation rights are waived.
4. After the 14-day period has expired, no refunds will be issued and any payments made will be retained.
8. Entire Agreement
1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all Work provided by RSK9 LTD.
2. RSK9 LTD reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
3. These Terms override any previous agreements.
4. No variation shall be binding unless agreed in writing by RSK9 LTD.
5. Each clause operates independently. If one clause is deemed invalid, the remainder remain enforceable. RSK9 LTD – Terms & Conditions | Page 3
6. Nothing in these Terms affects the Client’s statutory rights.
7. By booking or participating in Work, the Client confirms acceptance of these Terms.
8. This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
9. Any notice relating to these Terms must be provided in writing to RSK9 LTD.
